Regents Examinations are only available in New York State, they are statewide examinations in high school. The regents are developed and administered by the New York State Education Department, under the permission of the Board of Regents.The regents are required to take in order to receive a regents diploma, graduate, and be prepared for college. To graduate, students must score above 65 and have the appropriate credits. Regents with Advance Designation and Honors Designation are also available to take.
